About Sourcing Unicorns

Sourcing Unicorns is proud to partner on a visionary new project developed by a coalition of exceptional, soon-to-be-revealed creative studios, each bringing world-class expertise in immersive storytelling, interactive technologies, and experiential design.
Together, these teams are uniting to craft a groundbreaking free-roaming, interactive Location-Based Entertainment (LBE) experience in Paris—one that pushes the boundaries of innovation, narrative, and spatial immersion.
We are now seeking a Senior Production Director to join this ambitious collaboration and lead the creation of a truly unprecedented attraction.

About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Production Director to lead the end-to-end development of this large-scale LBE experience. The role spans pre-production, production, legal/IP integration, operations, launch, distribution, marketing, and long-term strategic planning.
You will orchestrate creative, technical, legal, operational, and commercial streams to deliver an exceptional world-class attraction.

The ideal candidate brings deep international LBE expertise, strong creative and operational instincts, and proven experience with IP-based experiential projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pre-Production & Strategic Planning

  • Lead feasibility, scoping, and strategic production planning.

  • Build and manage early budget estimates, project models, and resource plans.

  • Evaluate and recommend technical infrastructures, interactive systems, and immersive technologies.

  • Oversee real-estate and venue selection, spatial planning, technical fit-out, and regulatory feasibility.

  • Collaborate with creative teams from multiple partnering studios to translate vision into a clear, actionable production roadmap.

2. Creative IP & Legal Oversight

  • Ensure full understanding and proper implementation of the creative intellectual property (IP).

  • Embed IP guidelines and brand integrity across creative, marketing, and operational deliverables.

  • Manage relationships with legal teams on licensing, content rights, international IP considerations, and usage compliance.

  • Oversee vendor, artistic, and production contracts to secure proper rights, deliverables, warranties, and timelines.

  • Ensure compliance with French and international regulations, including safety codes, labor law, and data protection (GDPR).

3. Production Management

  • Develop and manage detailed production schedules, workflows, and risk management plans.

  • Lead internal teams and international vendors across AV, XR, fabrication, software, show control, scenic, lighting, installation, and commissioning.

  • Maintain rigorous CAPEX/OPEX oversight.

  • Oversee procurement, logistics coordination, construction, installation, integration, and technical validation.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, accessibility, and building regulations.

4. Operational Readiness & Launch

  • Lead technical rehearsals, QA/QC phases, calibration, and pre-opening procedures.

  • Define and implement operational workflows around staffing, maintenance, downtime mitigation, guest flow, and safety protocols.

  • Manage launch timelines and ensure seamless execution for opening.

5. Distribution, Marketing & Ticketing Strategy

  • Support the go-to-market strategy and align production milestones with marketing and PR.

  • Ensure creative IP is used accurately and legally in all consumer-facing materials.

  • Oversee pricing, ticketing architecture, capacity planning, yield optimization, and distribution partnerships.

6. Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the central connector between creative, technical, legal, operational, and executive teams.

  • Communicate risks, milestones, and strategic decisions to leadership and investors.

  • Foster collaboration among multiple partner studios and workstreams.
