For this opportunity, we’re proud to collaborate with a team of unique creatives based in between Paris dans Dubai to find the unicorn. The show is already in pre-production phase and we are looking for the expert in Production to make it all happen!


Mission

The Production Director oversees the entire pre-production and production of the shows, translating the creative visions into safe, efficient, high-quality executions.

They lead the operational implementation of creative and scenography ideas, coordinate all suppliers and vendors, and ensure adherence to the budget, timeline, and expected quality and safety standards.

They ensure that technical, logistical, budgetary and operational aspects of the show are fully aligned, and that the production runs smoothly from rehearsal through to the first performances.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creative & Strategic Alignment

  • Translate creative and scenography concepts into executable production plans.

  • Work closely with the creative team to ensure production decisions support the show’s vision without compromising operational realities.

  • Ensure alignment between creative intent, technical feasibility, and operational constraints.

  • Act as the key interface between the creative team (Paris), the Management (Dubai), and external vendors.

  • Develop and monitor the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) in collaboration with Agency and the creative team.

  • Budget & Procurement

  • Manage the production budget: plan, forecast, monitor spending, and report on variances.

  • Ensure compliance with the overall budget and approval of quotes.

  • Supervise sourcing, tenders, contract negotiations, and follow-up for all suppliers and vendors (construction, AV, lighting, sound, set, costumes, etc.).

  • Scheduling & Operational Delivery

  • Develop and manage the overall production schedule, ensuring all milestones (rehearsals, installations, load-ins, performances) are met by Opening Night.

  • Oversee venue readiness, including technical infrastructure, backstage areas, and audience experience (F&B, ticketing, guest services).

Job requirements

Logistics & Technical Operations

  • Lead logistical planning: transport, shipping, customs for technical elements and props, venue renovation, as well as accommodation and travel logistics for cast and crew.

  • Coordinate logistical aspects related to F&B, ticketing, guest services, technical operations, and show execution.

  • Ensure compliance with local Dubai safety, technical, and regulatory standards.

  • Leadership

  • Lead and unify production, technical, and operational teams.

Profile

  • Proven experience in large-scale live entertainment or circus-cabaret productions.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and financial management skills.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to balance creative vision with technical and operational realities.

  • Fluent in English; French is an asset.
